The Sarah Taylor School of Dance opened in 1995 and teaches Ballet, Tap, Modern Jazz, Freestyle, Disco, Song and Dance, Musical Theatre and Drama.  The School offers training to girls and boys from 3 years of age for social achievement, the professional theatre and teacher training.  Pupils have the opportunity to take International Dance Teachers’ Association exams (I.D.T.A), if they wish.  The school aims to provide good technique and works on a policy of hard work, achievement and a happy atmosphere.  The school takes part in various shows and galas throughout the year at venues such as Dewsbury Town Hall, Batley Town Hall and The Frontier Club, Batley.
